Apollo – Mission, phase 2

As Apollo lift off into 2020, we are very excited about the prospects and opportunity presenting themselves in 2020. Although we predict a challenging market Apollo forecast further growth on key activities and clients.

Following the investment from Global Energy Group in 2019, this has allowed Apollo to refocus, where we add value to our clients and our core activities.

Apollo’s front end and through life consultancy team will continue to give clients access to innovative engineering support to make sure the UKCS remains a competitive basin for years to come as well as supporting our international clients by expanding our operations in the Middle East and in Africa.

Our Digital Applications team are looking to build on last year’s successes, with five clients now using Apollo KnowHow™ and a further three international oil companies currently trialling the system. We are beginning to see increasing interest across the renewable and alternative power sectors for our flagship product and 2020 is shaping up to be a great year for further clients and developments.

Our Marine and Offshore team continue to grow and support our clients in the floating production, drilling, subsea construction and renewables areas. Apollo’s engineering capability in this sector aligns very well with Global Energy Groups construction activity in this market which provides multiple opportunities for our client base.

A key growth area for Apollo is supporting our client base through the energy transition. We are actively involved in projects across wind, wave and tidal and see the sector as a key part to Apollo’s future plans.

We are delighted to be part of the wider Global Energy Group as this provides Apollo and our clients opportunity to harness the benefit of having both engineering and construction integrated where it makes commercial and scheduling sense.

The Apollo journey continues and we would like to thank you for being part of this so far and look forward to you staying  with us for the rest of the mission.
