Apollo win Consultancy Engineering Services contract for Total

We are pleased to announce we have been awarded a contract to provide engineering services on oil and gas giant Total’s UK continental shelf (UKCS) assets over the next three years.

Work packages include safety engineering, environmental engineering, development engineering, process and flow assurance, facilities engineering, subsea and pipelines engineering and decommissioning.

After the investment by Inverness-headquartered Global Energy Group (GEG) last year we were able to re-focus ourselves within the marketplace as a front end and through-life engineering provider and this contract win cements that position.

We are pleased to announce the deal with Total – whose UKCS assets include the massive Culzean gas development, Elgin/Franklin, Laggan-Tormore and the Glendronach discovery – is our largest consultancy contract win to date.

Paul Ellerton, consultancy director, said: “The award of the contract is a significant milestone in building our relationship with Total. All the team is excited by the opportunity and looking forward to see what we can achieve together. We have continued to grow year-on-year in a very challenging market, so this award really cements our position as one of the leading engineering providers in the UKCS.”

Alongside a few other large contract wins, including two life-extension projects, this stands Apollo in a good position to weather the continued storm of COVID 19 and another oil price crash. The wins will enable us to continue on our growth trajectory and establish ourselves further as a leading engineering consultancy.

Business development executive, Roisean Farquhar added: “Total is one of the largest operators in the North Sea and to be chosen to support them really proves the talent that exists within Apollo.”
